Hello octo fi community. First and foremost I’d like to thank all of you that still are with us, you guys are the real heroes. (Seriously, its been rough)
In order to keep this short and sweet, i wanted to give you all a brief update as to where we stand, and what the future will hold for Octo.
As most of you know, for the last few months, nothing has occurred w the project, and octagon participation has been low / non existent. This needs to change prior to doing anything project related, as efforts will be wasted otherwise.
As of today, we will be onboarding // actively seeking new, qualified members to fill these roles, removing the people who are inactive, and adding some structure to better define who is doing what, and what their availabilities // commitments to the project are.
Therefore Its my pleasure to announce our first addition to the team, Anton from crypto briefing!
Anton is a long time friend of the project, and brings a wealth of knowledge regarding the space. He has a background in crypto research // development, and has stated his motivation behind joining is believing in DAOs and Wanting to help guide octofi during these trying times.

OIP-21 is out, starting in 23 hours on Nov 26, 2021, 12:00 PM, ending on Dec 4, 2021, 12:00 PM.
It's a simple one, just to start and check the community will to follow the path I have imagined to solve the "Team Finance" issue.
For those of you that don't know the topic, basically there are 200.000 octo sitting in Team Finance that are not controlled by Octo.fi. The only way to solve this is the release of a new octo token exchangeable with the actual one.
The plan to release the new token will be managed by and it will cost 5.000 usd.
Then there will be the cost of the execution of the plan. I will know about it in the next days.
So the OIP-21 is to provide up to 15.000 usd to clean this mess. It doesn't mean that the entire process will cost 15.000 usd, I think it will be way less.
In any case, this is the first step, let see what you guys think about it.

Communication is key even if it’s asking questions 😊 The more a single topic/question pops up, the more we know to look at it/make an overall article on it to help others moving forward. Anything you are comfortable doing, will be helpful. Honestly. Tied to our latest decentralizing blog post,
21,108 OCTO was transferred to the OctoFi treasury wallet, of which the 8 Octagon members hold the keys.
Another 19.5k OCTO was transfered to Sablier for long-term salary payments.
Also, 108 OCTO and $11,655.20 in DAI have been deposited to the fee distribution wallet.
All enable the community and Octagon to move the project forward to greatness 💪🐙

We had a few reports of $OCTO not loading on Uniswap protocol, but that's due to the CoinGecko Token List that many users have as their default.
We've notified them both and it appears they just need to update their JSON file.
But not to worry, since we are also on Kleros Curated Token List and even have our ERC20 Verified Badge on their platform.
FYI, help us make sure that CoinGecko get the message. 🙏
